You And I

by Mary E. Grenny

Where'er we travel, You and I,
Through sunny or through stormy weather,
We'll think of stars that light the sky
In sweet content that we're together.

We'll fare together, You and I,
On mountain-top or rock- strewn way;
We, hand in hand, our courage high-
For life holds many a sunny day.

While we're together, You and I,
Though clouds may gather, we will smile,
Remembering as the days go by
The sun is shining all the while.
