    Look yonder at the tree-tops' line
    Uneven etched along the sky,—
    Some dwarfish bent, some grandly high,—
    But think you that the low repine?

    No envy there of wildwood fame,
    No clamoring for equal room.
    Each gives the pageant one bright plume.
    God would not have us all the same.
